The developed sites were originally occupied by lock-up garages. The sites were in partial use, was subject to occasional fly tipping and afforded uncontrolled access to the rear of the surrounding properties.
Following extensive consultation with local residents, the practice developed a scheme of 6 No. three bedroom/five person houses of 90m² each, arranged in short terraces of 3 on the North and South sites. The houses were arranged in terraces to maximise the development potential of the site and to avoid any interface issues. Off street parking was also provided to each property for a minimum of one car per unit.
