The 0.2 Hectare residential site in Lower Heswall has spectacular views over the River Dee and Welsh hills. The existing dwelling had arts and crafts qualities, however had been unoccupied for a number of years, leading to issues such as damp penetration.

Following a detailed site appraisal, our proposal was to demolish the existing property and replace with a new-build six apartment (3 bed) scheme, of traditional nature but energy efficient. The proposed design respects the arts and crafts qualities of the existing demolished dwelling, featuring deliberately traditional details. The rear features large balconies which maximise the spectacular river views.

The site lies adjacent to Heswall Lower Village Conservation Area and as such required careful pre-planning negotiations and a good team of specialist consultants, in order to achieve approval. The project is currently on site.
